2008 and 2009 has been the home of many great remixes.  Most of the remixes have been produced by amateur DJ’s trying to gain publicity via online blogging sites and social networking sites but a few have been produced by well-known DJ’s.  None of these songs are available to download via Tech-Xtreme and no instructions on how to download them will be given out for copyright reasons.  Tech-Xtreme recommends using the iTunes Store to find most of these songs which only cost between 50p and £1.

  1. La Roux – In For The Kill (Skream’s Let’s Get Ravey Remix) – A Much slowed down version compared with the original, kind of like a ballad but it still sounds great.
  2. M.I.A. – Paper Planes (Remix For The Children by Adrock) – An interesting version which seems to be very similar to the original and lacks that certain something which makes remixes great but a lot of people have recommended it to me.
  3. Moby – Porcelain (Clubbed To Death Version) – A very similar version again but only part way through.  The use of more bass and suddenly changing back really makes this remix a great song.
  4. MGMT – Electric Feel (Justice Remix) – A great band and a great remix. Lot’s of Bass and originality.
  5. Yeah yeah yeahs - Zero (RAC Mix) - Very different to the original and sounds brilliant.
  6. Calvin Harris - The Girls (Groove Armada Version) – An amazing song before the remix.  I wouldn’t say this one is the best remix ever but it really sounds good.
  7. Guru Josh Project – Infinity (Beat Flow DJ Kanzarus Remix) – Found whilst browsing YouTube and I thought it was good so here is the link > Click Here.
  8. Akon – Right Now (Pol4fon2U Club 2009 Remix) – So far the best remix I personally have found on YouTube and the internet. Click Here.
  9. Kaiser Chiefs – Never Miss A Beat (cut copy remix) – I’m gonna have to say that this remix is definitely high up on my list. Great Song.
  10. Daft Punk – Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger (The Neptunes remix) – Being a big fan of the original song, made even more famous by the YouTube video (click here), I had to check this remix out and I was slightly surprised. Mainly because it wasn’t really the same but it doesn’t actually sound too bad.
